Nippon Shaft Ltd Edition Blue Modus³ Wedge

Nippon Shaft has announced the release of the N.S. PRO MODUS³ Blue Edition, a limited run of wedge shafts are now available through Diamond Golf.

Offering optimum short game performance and limited to only 500 pieces for the European market, the Blue Edition wedge has the same specifications as the tour-winning Modus³ Wedge models.

Diamond Golf now feature new Mitsubishi Rayon TENSEI™ CK Blue shaft

The TENSEI™ CK Series features a multi-material design that optimises classic, tour-proven MRC Golf bend profiles in much the same manner as racecar designs use exotic materials to enhance performance and efficiency.

While a typical shaft series includes three to six materials, the Tensei CK Series combines 11 different prepreg materials, including Low Resin Content prepreg, ultra-thin prepreg and for the first time, a Carbon Fiber/DuPont™ Kevlar® weave for ultimate refinement of a classic smooth bend profile.

The new shaft brand is inspired by the Japanese word “Tensei” – which means “transformation” in English.

Diamond Golf offers G-Rip’s new unique FL-1 Putter Grip

Leading European golf component distributor Diamond Golf International is now selling G-Rip’s unique putter grip FL-1.

Unique Triangular Shape
The FL-1 is a unique putting grip with an innovative triangular shape designed to help golfers find the correct hand positions on their putter quickly and easily – time after time. The V shape at the back of the grip sits snuggly into the fingers creating the right “feel” that golfers need to experience in order to produce a repeatable stroke.

Microfibre Material
The key to the FL-1’s incredible performance is the lightweight EVA under-listing and microfibre cover. The cover itself has hundreds of tiny silicone buds on the surface, which create points of contact with the hands through which the golfer receives instant feedback from their putting stroke. The FL-1 also has unique moisture-repelling properties which means its a grip suitable for all environments and weather conditions.

Over the last twenty years, they have developed more than a thousand different formulations of resin and made over a hundred types of fiber for many performance-based applications, including golf shafts.

This vertical integration means that any combination of resins and fibers required to optimize a golf shaft’s design and performance can be made. The majority of competitors work with a relatively limited list of raw materials from a finite number of available suppliers. Typically, they purchase stock prepreg, which can require designs to be adjusted to the limitations of the available materials. MRC’s ability to make any composition of resin or fiber and combine them into their own prepreg sets them apart from their competition.

Zelos 7 by Nippon Shaft

Light weight and strength have been mutually exclusive. Reducing the weight of steel has lowered its strength, increased the likelihood of breakage and reduced the pliability required to make dynamic shots. Two years ago, Nippon Shaft committed to solving this dilemma by developing a new type of shaft. Material Stiffness Integration Technology by Graphite Design

Material Stiffness Integration (MSI), is a proprietary design concept by which Graphite Design develops golf shafts. By using a different combination of materials that vary in stiffness and fiber volume, vibration is reduced giving the shafts an overall superior feel.

Composite materials consist of two main components: graphtie fiber and resin. The stiffness of each fiber has an impact on how much vibration is is transmitted up the shaft affecting feel.
